So, Who is Taysha?

Born on January 30, 2009, in Columbus - GA, daughter of Tatiana and Diones Souza, Taysha has a twin sister Tayna Souza and a 14-year-old brother, Jhonny Souza. She is a first generation American-Brazilian in her family, and she can also speak 3 languages! Taysha attends North Cobb Christian High School in Kennesaw - GA, she is finishing the 10th year of high school, and has already received the title of an Honor Student! She is part of the school's varsity soccer team and cheer, she also trains Jiu-jitsu at BJJ Warrior Canton, and will be part of the school's varsity cheerleading team next summer. At the moment she is focused on the USA National Miss Pageant system, which will take place in July, and it will be in Florida. Taysha attended UNM January of 2024 in Alabama, where she won the people's choice title, Miss Yellowhammer State, and qualified for the UNM National competition.

Changing The World

Taysha works regularly at her Brazilian church in volunteer projects, being one of the leaders of Africa Arts, which aims to raise funds for missions in Africa through children's art, she sings in the worship team, participates in the worship dance team, she is also leader of the Bible study group for teens and a teacher in the children's ministry.

Taysha has been one of the leaders of a non-profit organization called Pavillion One, which aims to help children learn sports, get to know Jesus, and help those in need through donations. She has also collected donations through a GoFundMe to help victims in the Rio Grande do Sul floods, a Brazilian state that is facing a major catastrophe. on her platform, To The World, she shares her personal journey through all her voluntary work, community service, and being a Christian model with Biblical principles.

Queen!

She started competing in Pageants about 1 year ago, Taysha participated in her first national pageant in November of 2023, participating in two different pageant systems at the same time. There she was able to represent Brazil in the International Junior Miss system. She also competed in the Grace Upon Grace pageant in 2024, which is a fundraiser to help adults and children with Down Syndrome in her community. She left with the crown and managed to raise more than $40,000 to help fund the cause. Last spring break Taysha went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Through this experience she was able to learn about the difficulties of life up close and she was also able to help with the  Dominican children.

Nationals

Taysha did an amazing job at the Pageant Nationals! Even though she didn't win the crown, she made it to the top 16 and was thrilled to have fulfilled her mission of sharing her platform "To The World. She also won the titles of Jr. Teen Fun Fitness, Overall Fun Fitness, Overall People's Choice, and Miss Positive Pageantry. Despite not taking the top title, she was proud of her accomplishments and grateful for the recognition she received. Her hard work, dedication, and positive attitude truly paid off, and she left a lasting impression on the pageant community. Taysha's success at the competition was a testament to her talent, charisma, and ability to inspire others. She may not have been crowned queen, but she was a winner in every sense of the word.

Taysha is looking forward to her next competition after her national pageant experience. She is proud to represent her family's country of origin, Brazil, in the International Junior Miss pageant. With a new level of confidence and determination, she is working hard to prepare for the upcoming competition. Her goal is to showcase the beauty and culture of Brazil on the international stage and make her family proud. Taysha is excited for the opportunity to meet and compete with other talented sisters queens from around the world, and she is committed to giving her best performance. With the support of her family and the determination to succeed, Taysha is ready to take on this new challenge and make her mark on the international pageant scene.
